The Men’s Fellowship of St Jean parish in Port Louis, is organising a Sports and Fun day for men on Saturday 26 July 2025 at Lighthouse Primary School, Calebases from 9 am to 4 pm.
The following games are proposed:
- Darts
- Squat Long Jump
- Kneeling Ball Throw
- Flag Relay Race
- Endurance Race
- Hoop Relay
- Sack Relay Race
- Three-Legged Relay Race
- Ball Passing Relay
- Ball Between Thighs Relay Race
- Ball to Forehead Relay Race
- Wheelbarrow Race
- Mind Twisters Challenge
- Tug of War
- Kick Bag Challenge
- Strong Man Challenge
- Obstacle Course
- 6-a-Side Football Tournament
- Volleyball Tournament
All parishes are invited. The parishes who wish to participate should make a team. Contribution is Rs 2500 per team up to 25 participants, with an additional fee of Rs 100 per participant above 25. The money collected will cover the cost of medals, trophies, water, filled breads, sound system, first aid kit and venue rental.
Following a draw, each parish was allocated a colour as follows:
- St Jean - Red
- St André - Black
- St Pierre - Grey
- St Joseph - Yellow
- St Columba - White
- EPM Fahazavana - Blue
Those interested are asked to register with the pastor or secretary of their parish. The deadline for registrations is 7 July 2025.
