Project Progress and Essential Works

The planning phase is now complete, and we’ll be presenting the full project to the church session this week. While that’s underway, we are also preparing the Karibu building and grounds for public use.

Several improvements are being carried out by professionals, including:

  • Installing and preparing a vegetable garden
  • Burying a water pipe and its meter
  • Repairing the roof
  • Securing loose electrical wires
  • And other vital work to ensure the building is safe and welcoming

The total cost of these works is estimated at Rs 50,000. Your continued support in prayer and giving makes all the difference.

Call for Painting Volunteers

While some tasks require professional expertise, others are perfect for willing hands!
We are looking for volunteers to help paint the interior of Karibu. If you’d like to take part, please reach out to Ps Ursula.

Café Launch: June Preparation, August Opening

In June, we’ll begin preparing for the launch of the Karibu Café with:

  • Formation of a volunteer café team
  • Drink-making training led by Jane
  • Menu creation by Dorise and Asha
  • Practice sessions with refreshments served after service
  • A special church meal to try out the future menu
  • Takeaway meals will also be offered by Gina

Our goal is to open the café in August, offering a space of warmth, fellowship, and outreach to the wider community.

We invite everyone to journey with us—through your time, prayers, and financial support—as we bring this vision to life.

“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.”
